Due to significant power issues with TDS, the Terra FOT has had to work extremely hard (high buffers and blind acquisitions) to ensure data capture. Unfortunately, all the data was not able to be captured and data losses have occurred. MODIS DATA LOSS - 241/06:07:34-06:07:55z - 241/08:00:15-08:23:03z - 242/02:49:49-02:50:56z - 242/05:05:25-05:07:13z - 243/01:39:04-01:43:18z Refined times and mode information will be placed in the Terra data loss database. The FOT is working very hard to prevent additional data loss. TDE was added to our active TDRS slots to help alleviate the situation. With the TDS battery anomaly, the FOT has to manage high buffers with limited TDRS and EPGN availablity. It is likely there will be additional data loss in the next couple of weeks.
